What is egg freezing process?
Egg Freezing is typically a 12 to 14 day process that starts from the second day of your periods. Most of the 12–14 day journey happens at home. Clinic time is limited to short scans and one retrieval visit.

Does freezing eggs stop periods?
No. Freezing eggs does not stop your periods or cause menopause. Your ovaries continue to function normally after the procedure, and your menstrual cycle usually returns to its regular pattern within a few weeks.
If you freeze your eggs, can you still get pregnant?
Yes. Freezing your eggs does not affect your ability to conceive naturally in the future. If you become pregnant naturally, your frozen eggs can simply remain in storage until you decide whether you want to use them.
Egg freezing age limit
There is no strict age limit for egg freezing, but it is generally recommended between the ages of 25 and 35, when egg quality is highest. Women above 35 can still freeze their eggs, although the number and quality of eggs usually decline with age. Your fertility specialist will advise whether egg freezing is suitable based on your ovarian reserve rather than age alone.
Side effects of freezing eggs
Most women experience only mild, temporary side effects during the egg freezing process. These may include bloating, mild pelvic discomfort, temporary mood changes, breast tenderness, or soreness at the injection site. Serious complications are uncommon, and your fertility team will monitor you closely throughout the process.
